In collaboration with Waveney and Blyth Arts,  choir director Janet Koralambe and choreographer Caroline Mummery, Koan Arts was commissioned to make a film based on performances created for what was originally planned to be a live production to be held on the Millennium Green in Halesworth. The production, based on the music and book Spell Songs, involved two community choirs, a community dance group and two local schools, (which worked with Caroline and musician Kimberley Moore).

The result is a multi-layered art film evoking the imagery of the songs, Suffolk landscape, original site of the performance, the choirs’ voices and dancers’ movements enhanced with animation inspired by the songs.
